Battery Park junior parkrun, event number 114, November 19
TWENTY runners took part in the junior parkrun at Battery Park on Sunday, and of these Finlay and Kira were running at Greenock for the first time.
Rudi and Amber achieved new PBs and there was one runner milestone this week with Luisa receiving her marathon wristbands for completing 21 junior parkruns.
There were two volunteers also reaching milestones, Lesley Dick volunteering for the 25th time and Jim Gavin gaining his 75th volunteer credit.
First timer Finlay Mitchell was the first of the boys to complete the course (07:09). Louis Reid (07:16) was second and Elijah Taylor in 08:23 completed the top three boys.
Kira Mitchell (in her first run at Greenock) was first of the girls to finish (09:45). Shana Byrne (09:49) was second and Faye Holmes (10:37) completed the top three girls.
