Battery Park junior parkrun, event number 120, January 14
A TOTAL of 33 junior parkrunners gathered at the Battery Park for their first event of the year.
There were two first timers, Martha and Michele, and nine runners achieved new PBs.
Two half-marathon milestone wristbands were achieved by Gabriel Carroll and Rosie Gregg, having both completed 11 junior parkruns.
Louis Reid was first of the boys to finish (07:42). Elijah Taylor (08:19) was second, with Rudy Byrne completing the top three (09:07).
First of the girls to finish was Aimee McEleny (09:18) followed by Anna Shearer (09:45) with Isabel Lafferty, with a new PB of 09:55, completing the top three girls.
