Greenock parkrun, event number 435, February 10

A TOTAL of 114 hardy participants ran, jogged or walked the course on a freezing cold and windy day.

Fourteen of them were first-timers, five recorded new personal bests and representatives of 12 different clubs took part.

Milestones were achieved by: Graeme Hanna, 200 parkruns; Debbie McKenzie, 200 parkruns; Barry McGlynn, 150 parkruns; Simon Hutton, 150 parkruns and Joe Percival, 150 parkruns.

Daniel Doherty was first male to finish (17:36) followed by Paul Monaghan (17:59) and Andrew McCall (18:01).

First-timer Sandra Reid was first female to complete the course (22:26) Paula Vosper (26:01) was second, and third was June Jackson (26:39).
