FORMER Falkirk defender Luca Gasparotto insists he’ll be looking to prove doubters wrong this afternoon as the Bairns face Morton for the first time since he penned a permanent deal at Cappielow.
Gasparotto orchestrated a deal out of the Bairns to sign for Ton after completing an original emergency loan spell.
And while the 22-year-old believes it will be a an odd afternoon to go up against his ex-team-mates, he’ll be doing all he can for his new squad to get the points after being deemed surplus to requirements by Bairns boss Paul Hartley.
He told the Tele: “It will be a strange game today but it’s one I’m looking forward to.
“It was part of the deal when I joined Morton on loan that I couldn’t play against Falkirk but it’s different now.
“But I’ll just be treating it like another game, there’s nothing special about it necessarily and nothing different from a Dumbarton or Dundee United.
“It will be good if I’m chosen to play to get out there and maybe prove a few doubters there wrong.”
