The next big thing... This week, David Verlaque

Young David is a former Dundee United and Queen’s Park youth player who joined the club halfway through last season and cancelled a trial with Nottingham Forest to sign for the development squad.

The 18-year-old originally started out as a defender who could operate at either right-back or centre-half but has been converted to the sitting midfield role.
