Slovan hit Ton for six

MORTON"S pre-season preparations in Austria continued yesterday with a match against Slovan Bratislava.
In conditions described as "very warm", Morton eventually went down 6-1 to a team preparing for a Champions League second round qualifying match against the Croatian Champions NK Zrinjski in two weeks.
Slovan were one up at the interval through a goal scored in 18 minutes by Salata.
There had not been a great deal in the game, and Allan Jenkins was unlucky not to score after a good move.
But Bratislava turned up the heat in the second half, Sylvestr netting a hat-trick in 47, 70 and 71 minutes.
Other goals came from Cernak and Gaucho in 78 and 80 minutes.
Morton managed a late consolation goal from Adam Strachan who has been training with them.
Morton lined up as follows: Cuthbert, Walker, Finlayson, Greacen, McManus, Masterton, jenkins, MacFarlane, Weatherson, Graham, McAlister. Subs - Stewart, Russell, Wake, McGuffie, Monti, Paartalu, Grady and Strachan.
Morton play a German Third Division side tomorrow before coming home on Sunday.
