HAZARDOUS asbestos material has been discovered among a mountain of rubbish dumped by fly-tippers at a Greenock beauty spot.
People have reacted furiously after the mess was discovered at the picturesque Greenock Cut near Overton.
Piles of wood, metal fixtures and fittings and an asbestos water tank are among the array of items illegally discarded at the popular visitor spot.
An investigation is now underway to find the culprits.
