Alice took her position out on the green and got the season off to a great start.
Lady Alice Bowling Club was established in 1915 and now welcomes men and women from all over Inverclyde.
Past president Sandra Munro said the club was looking forward to another successful year for the ladies.
She added: "The club is a community in its own right.
"Our male and female members are all equal and we're all a great support to each other.
"We want to say a huge 'thank-you' to Alice for opening the green for us this season."
The club has just undergone a major revamp of its clubhouse to improve and modernise the facilities.
Sandra said the club is keen to attract new members to make the most of it.
Ladies who are interested should pop along to the club on a Wednesday afternoon from 2pm.
